Economic Effects of Global Warming

The increase in global warming has left countries with weaker economies suffering the negative effects that are left by climate change, at a much greater level than countries which have higher economic growth. 80 years ago, the World Bank and Monetary Fund were established in order to provide support for countries looking to rebuild themselves as a result of the negative effects of World War II. However, in modern day society, it is necessary for these groups to provide support for the global warming crisis. The primary functions of these organizations is to take money from wealthy nations, and use that money to provide support to less developed countries where it is needed. There is now more of a need to use that money for global warming, specifically for countries that face extreme poverty, which are at greater risk of experiencing negative effects from the global warming crisis. Although many countries face depressing effects of climate change, and climate change is an increasing issue globally, countries with smaller economies face the truly devastating effects, which can pose potential health concerns as well.
